The Pokémon franchise has officially launched its 30th anniversary celebration campaign with a highprofile, starpacked commercial that debuted during Super Bowl LX, marking the beginning of a yearlong celebration of one of the most influential entertainment franchises in history. This nostalgic yet forwardlooking Pokémon 30th Anniversary Super Bowl ad spot spotlights beloved creatures, celebrity fans, and the simple question at the heart of the campaign: “What’s your favorite?” a question that resonates deeply with fans of all ages around the world. 

 

The commercial officially part of The Pokémon Company International’s “What’s Your Favorite?” campaign features an eclectic mix of global stars, including Lady Gaga, comedian Trevor Noah, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, Never Have I Ever actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and rapper Young Miko, each revealing their favorite Pokémon in heartwarming and humorous ways. For example, Lady Gaga chooses Jigglypuff for its “12octave vocal range, while Trevor Noah laughingly selects Psyduck, a character known for its confused charm. Jisoo explains her pick of Eevee by drawing parallels between the evolving Pokémon and her own adaptable career path.
